Will Obama comment again on Wis.?

One thing is clear in Wisconsin: Republicans in the state Assembly have achieved the first major step in taking away collective bargaining rights for public workers by passing a bill Friday morning.

What’s less clear is whether President Obama will ever talk about the union battle in Wisconsin soon – or ever.

Obama inserted himself into the debate in Wisconsin last week by saying in a local TV interview that the legislation, supported by Gov. Scott Walker, is like “an assault on unions.” Supporters at Organizing for America, Obama’s campaign arm, were aiding the protesters in the state who were rallying against the measure.

With Obama, as with most libs, the question is never one of right vs. wrong. Every calculation is political. If he can gain one more vote than he loses by adopting a particular stance on an issue, he will do so. His inaction in the Middle East is due to the fact that his crack group of advisers can’t figure out which side of the fence will help him politically, so they just use the Obama “Hypocritic Oath,” i.e., First, Do No Harm.

Republicans in the state Assembly have achieved the first major step in taking away collective bargaining rights for public workers solving a crippling budget shortfall for the long term health of the Wisconsin economy by passing the Budget Repair Bill Friday morning.

There! I fixed it. We should be careful to discuss this major development in positive terms. Always.

It depends on what his polling shows on which way the wind is blowing. Almost makes me wish he’d fall for one of these phony Union sponsored polls and stick his foot in it again.

It’s an interesting question to ponder. Whereas I’d like to see Barry verbally slapped down again vis a vis “balancing his own budget,” Gov. Walker doesn’t need the distraction of a president sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. Given that the trend is more states following Wisconsin’s lead, I’d guess he’s going to leave it to one of his minions.

In 2007 Obama claimed that as POTUS he'd put on some comfortable shoes and walk the picket lines with them.
Of course those words for just for show, because he doesn't keep any promises.

On the other hand solving the WI union situation may become his NUMBER ONE PRIORITY too. Of course he already has at least three or four No. 1 priorities now, so that wouldn't mean anything either.

Its the life and death of the Dem party, specifically the progressive wing which is their majority anyway. This very well could become his number one priority.
