Old Sow off Deer Island New Brunswick occurs with some regularity. Sometimes its many smaller ones the locals call piglets.

I was reading about Old Sow the other day. There’s a freshwater river output and the mix between salt and fresh is the catalyst and bathymetry defines the location.
