In N.H., Giuliani Comes Out Swinging

Former presidential candidate says Hillary Clinton would've been better.

Rudy Giuliani returned to the Granite State Friday night, acknowledging his poor performance here in the 2008 GOP primary in a speech that lambasted President Obama, jabbed Mitt Romney’s health plan and praised the tea party.

“My view of the tea party is the tea party is one of the best things that’s happened to American democracy in a very, very long time,” he said. “People in the tea party, like me, believe that our freedom is being taken away.”

He mocked Obama’s background as a community organizer, saying it is the wrong kind of experience for a president, adding, “It’s worse than we thought, isn’t it? He really seems like he doesn’t know what he’s doing. “

He accused the president of “dithering” over Libya, and called him “incapable of making a decision.”

“This president has been a failure in just about every single thing that he’s done,” he said.

“The president of the United States gave [the anti-Qadhafi forces] encouragement. ... [And people] got killed and slaughtered by Qadhafi while Obama dithered,” he thundered. “That’s a president? That’s what we want in this country? Can we stand two more years of this? Well, we’re going to have to.”

He called for the next president to submit “a bill to repeal ObamaCare once and for all!” And he told reporters after his speech that “the biggest issue deep down is ObamaCare…it’s a freedom thing.”

In his speech, Giuliani noted that in 2008 he predicted that RomneyCare, which he only referred to as the “Massachusetts health plan,” would cost “three times” the predicted estimates. He said he knew this because “I ran a hospital system” as mayor.

He said Romney has to acknowledge that the Massachusetts plan, portions of which served as models for the national health law championed by Obama, was a mistake and “even go further” and suggest he would try to obliterate ObamaCare.

“I think it would be a bigger problem than people anticipate,” he said of Romney’s record on health care, adding, “I’ve had people tell me about it for the last two months. People call me and tell me, people who might be interested in supporting (Romney).”

Thank you for your strength and leadership at a time when our country needed it, Mr. Mayor. However, your ideology on a number of issues is in contrast to what I’d like to see in a candidate for President.

Had he known Obambi would get the rat nomination instead of Hillary, he might not have run away from her again.

Rudy's time has come and gone: from front-runner to zero delegates in 2008.

Giuliani has it right, Obama has been a failure at everything he's done. His dithering did cost lives in Libya. He is aloof, disengaged, apparently doesn't want to be bothered much by the problems of the common people. He's jetting off to Rio. Once again, he'll be disengaged. Must need the break to get away from ‘thinking’ about all those ‘number one priorities’. Being President is a tough job. Someone has to keep the seat warm.

Rudy Julie Annie, the man who used the remains of 911 victims to fill NYC’s potholes, now wants to send American troops into Libya.

I’d like to see Romney pushed out of the nomination process to make way for conservative candidates. If Rudy wants to help do that (assuming he isn’t running himself) by pointing out Romney’s big health care debacle, then that’s fine with me.

I don’t care who does it as long as they are attacking Obama. The more we get people out there revealing, attacking, judging, and exposing Obama the better off we, as a nation, will be.

I love Rudy’s ability to hammer Dems. You get that after you live there a while. Vote no, admire yes. We need to fight together not each other.

Pray for America

Rudy was a great mayor of New York. But he is behaving delusionally if he thinks he can be POTUS at this point.

He missed several chances to run for such positions as governor of New York or the Senate. Beneath his notice, apparently.

That’s what I mean by delusional. Because if there was ever a possible route to the White House for Rudy, it was via Albany. Too late now. We don’t need another pro-abortion, pro-gay, CINO RINO running in the presidential sweepstakes. We’ve already got more of those than we can handle.

“Are you saying he doen’t believe his freedoms are being taken away?”

I’m sure he does but the problem is he does not agree with all our freedoms. Like the second amendment. The wording is very clear and unambiguous. “Shall not be infringed”. That wording leaves exactly zero room for gun control of any kind. I would like to have Rudy read the amendment and then ask him if it said anything about reasonable infringement? Then ask him what does the word “shall” usually mean in legal terms? He’s a lawyer and he knows EXACTLY what is meant in legal terms when the word “shall” is used.

I can’t vote for someone that does not recognize all of the constitution.
