Notice that both methods attribute evolution as a scientific "fact", and even when stacking the deck like that, the libtards still come out behind.

Here is the chart from the initial post the Discovery Magazine was referencing. (Green is good, Red is Bad.)

Not terribly surprised to learn this. Liberals are a needy and dependent group of people who cannot be bothered with things technical. They are perfectly happy to let someone else deal with the details as long as it benefits them.

I have know so many liberals and democrats who obsess over their astrology charts it isn’t even funny.

All my Conservative and Republican friends feel astrology is a big waste of time.

Nice to be vindicated.

They should have framed it differently, with unambiguous fact - like....

a) Humans and chimpanzees are more similar in DNA to each other than either is to a gorilla.
b) Gorillas and chimpanzees are more similar in DNA to each other than either is to a human.
c) Humans and gorillas are more similar in DNA to each other than either is to a chimpanzee.
d) Humans chimpanzees and gorillas are all equally dissimilar in DNA.

Only one of those answers is true.

All of this just seems to point out something that I was musing on just this morning...
When we don’t know or understand something we LOOK it up.
When Democrats don’t know or understand something they MAKE up answers!

Conservatives are humble. They understand the limitations of man in the cosmos, and rely on empirical data to advance science and industrial progress.

Liberals are arrogant. They don’t think man has any limitations in the cosmos, and believe they can dictate or legislate anything (including ‘climate change’). If empirical data don’t match their preconceived notions, they just make up new data and lies.

Actually a very telling survey ...

although one simply needed to review that latest MSM report on radiation, to view some of the very worst scientific reporting ever presented.

The report distinctly demonstrates the lack of critical thinking training and the rigors of the scientific discipline. Those pursuing arts verses those who pursue the sciences often diverge in the arena of critical thinking and appropriate empathy.

Again this is a failure of the educational system, the result of the destruction of the family, and the loss of Godly virtues in the lives of our people.

Wonderful thread - glad they didn’t ask if the earth is round like a beach ball.

(Because as all good conservatives know, it’s actually an oblate spheroid).

Almost nobody understands science, and that includes most scientists.

The idea that a political party, especially the Stupid Party, "understands" science is absurd.

Notice that both methods attribute evolution as a scientific "fact", and even when stacking the deck like that, the libtards still come out behind.

As a scientist, I could no more dismiss the theory of evolution than I could discount atomic or gravitational theory. Understanding it is pretty basic and intrinsic to my ability to function as a scientist.

For the proper definition of "theory", look to post #43, where Right Wing Assault provides an accurate definition of what "theory" means to a scientist.

The only thing I can call scientific "fact" would be the raw uninterpreted data from an experiment.

A day is going to come when it is probably too late that we realize we failed to stand. This stuff? We know it is true, but what does it matter when the truth no longer matters?
