Live thread: Wisconsin Supreme Court election - Prosser vs Kloppenburg

This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.

I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.

Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

I could just puke. Outside groups have been spending $300,000 a day in WI to beat Prosser . This is nothing but
union thuggery from Chicago and DC.

You and me both. This is truly sad that the people of WI embrace union thuggery and lies. Shame on them.

It took me about three solid weeks to lose that sick feeling in my stomach when BO won. Well it’s back, and something tells me that feeling is going to be with me for a very long time.

Me too....exactly the same sick feeling. It was greatly lifted last Nov 2, but since then the Repubs have pretty much squandered any momentum they had from that election. Including here in Wisconsin. I can't believe that there should not be a MILLION conservative ballots cast for Prosser.... instead the commie union goon thug is winning. Another sad evening I must say.

There’s a discrepancy between the Dane County site, which has exactly 10,000 fewer votes for Klop than does the AP site. I’d guess that the Dane County site is correct, not the AP.

http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/files/elections/2011/by_county/WI_Supreme_Court_0405.html?SITE=AP&SECTION=POLITICS

vs

http://www.countyofdane.com/clerk/elect2011b.html

The AP list has Klop with 134,880-45,503

The Dane County results has Klop up 124,880-45,503

Based on my projected precinct totals, I would buy the Dane County numbers, not the AP.

Look at the Waukesha county judge race. Reporting at 95% in, about 100,000 total votes. 67/33 for the good guy, by the way. I would suspect the Supreme vote count to be about the same.

Well, we have been thinking of moving and this certainly encourages the idea.

Texas and Tennessee are open for business...come on down!

Turnout in Dane is very high. Milwaukee not so much. Hopefully Waukesha turnout is also very high because Prosser has some votes to make up.

I was just following this and I was wondering how Kloppy jumped so high so quickly. It had been Prosser for most of the night then suddenly Kloppy is up by 34,000???!!! That can’t be right. Walker better challenge ANY voting discrepancies if Kloppy wins.

I’ll be depressed if Kloppy wins. It will be a definate step backward for Wisconsin. :(
