I thought the president would take a pass when I asked him about Donald Trump’s rise to the top of the Republican field in my exclusive interview today.
Far from it.
He grabbed at the chance with a big smile – saying he thinks the whole issue will be a problem for Republicans.
“I think that over the last two and a half years there's been an effort to go at me in a way that is politically expedient in the short-term for Republicans. But [it] creates, I think a problem for them when they want to actually run in a general election where most people feel pretty confident the President was born where he says he was, in Hawaii. He-- he doesn't have horns…we're not really worrying about conspiracy theories or-- or birth certificates,” President Obama told me.
And in all my talks with Obama I think it was the first time he was one the same page as Karl Rove who thinks the “birther” controversy is hurting the GOP.
“The truth of the matter is that I think that the vast majority of Americans across the country – Democratic or Republican – really want this election to be about growing the economy, getting control of the deficit, preparing the future for our kids. And my suspicion is that anybody who is not addressing those questions…Is going to be in trouble. I think they may get a quick pop in the news. They may get a lot of attention. But ultimately, the American people understand this is a serious, sober time,” he told me....

Obama’s past is very murky. MSM has never mentioned his Muslim half sister that died a while back. NEVER HEARD ABOUT HER. Go look her up.
People know the economy sucks and Obama is incompetent. Giving them something to pin their dislike of Obama on, “He’s not one of us. Not really an American and doesn’t have our best interest at heart.”
That doesn’t play to the MSM liberal establishment. It plays in middle America. They get it. “Clinging to their guns and their backwards religion — the foolish rubes out there who didn’t get into Harvard with no qualifications like I did or say prayers to Alah in perfect Arabic.”
Obama will be polling in the 30s soon.

I am happy at least Arizona has a law that candidates must produce a birthcert to get on the ballot so we will eventually see this play out. If he refuses to comply with the Arizona requirement I don’t think the media will be able to cover up when a President is giving up an entire state in an election... We will see...

2. If Obama does not produce a long-form certificate, not only will he not be reelected, he may not be able to garner the DIM nomination...much less get on the ballot in several states he would not have won anyway.

“...we should assume he was until there is proof otherwise...” So you think that I can go down to the Passport Office and get my passport as they “...will assume I am a U.S. citizen unless there is proof otherwise...” I don’t think so...I appreciate the complete nature of your “natural born citizen” analysis, but I cannot accept this phrase as being legitimate. The burden of proof lies with the applicant, not the other way.
The drooling is beyond disgusting. My husband was flipping channels last night, and the Wookie was on with some entertainment types. They were fawning and drooling and acting like every word out of her mouth was a pot of gold. She is barely literate and clearly very impressed with herself. I could only take about 30 seconds.
Anyway, the drool-fests are beyond anything I’ve ever seen.
