Kind of stupid. I always make sure to pay something plus if the amount is small I don't argue the change since I already got my good deals. I just want to split and go to my next deal. However, I did have this incident happen to me:
I picked up a whole bunch of chicken wings, a Porterhouse steak, and a six pack of beer. I used my coupons and when I whipped out some money, the cashier said I didn't owe anything. Okay, so it was exactly zero, or so I thought, as I began to leave.
Then behind me I heard the cashier call out:
"Sir, please come back."
"Uh-oh!" I thought. This can't be good.
When I returned, the cashier said, "Your forgot to get your money." And she gave me $2.05.
So I got all that stuff FREE plus $2.05. I usually try to owe something but my miscalculation caused them to give me money back.
And how would you like to be paid to "buy" all that stuff?
Well if you are only 1/2 mile away just think of it as they paid for your gas to get there. ;) Some it the stores here have made it so they only accept one of each coupon so if you want to buy with more than one you have to amke it separate orders.
