These are massive earthquakes not normally seen with modern volcanoes, IMO.
5.7 isn't massive really, but pretty powerful for a volcanic earthquake.
When Katmai in Alaska erupted in 1912 there were 12 magnitude 6.0-7.0 earthquakes associated with it.
