>No its not good. We could possibly see an ice age and for the poster before you the article is not wrong. The only ones saying look out for an active sun are the ones that want money to prepare. The good news is it would take more than a lifetime for an ice age to set in. Also theres nothing we can do about it or to cause it.<
I have an idea that will work. To prevent an ice age, have elections every year, that should generate enough HOT AIR to keep us all living in a tropical zone till the sun gets through this cycle.

"Sunspot levels can serve as an indirect indicator of the strength of the solar magnetic field. I'm wondering if there could be some coupling mechanism involving interactions between the solar magnetic field and Earth's magnetic field which could have effects on the Earth's core? Any real physicists around who could chime in?"
Thanks for asking that excellent question.

Piers Corbyn, uses the sun to predict weather a year out and is more accurate than anyone else is by far. He has said for years that AWG is BS. He also claims earthquakes can be triggered by the sun. I don’t know if I buy all of his theories but considering how good his forecasts have been (weather and quakes,) there’s something to look at for sure.

After looking at your post... I think it is absolute genius for the left to claim they are defeating global warming, when all they are really doing is lining up their policies to match the timeline for the cool down.

It also appears that volcanic activity has increased over the past few months. Increased volcanic activity, if it puts enough extra sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere, can cause global cooling.According to to April 2011 issue of National Geographic, every day the lava lake at the Nyiragongo Volcano puts out more sulfur dioxide "than the total from every car and factory in the United States.
Bad, bad, bad volcano!
