Reports: House GOP lining up behind Boehner’s plan (the GOP has sold the tea party out)

[T]he opposition bloc led by [Jim] Jordan appears to be crumbling, as leadership’s message seems to be sinking in. Sources tells NRO that a number of members who were confirmed no votes against the Boehner plan announced during the meeting that they would be voting yes. One of those members, Rep. Blake Farenthold (R., Texas) told reporters that while he would like to “snap my fingers and change the world like ‘I Dream of Genie’ of Samantha on ‘Bewitched,’” Republicans “need to take what we can get.”…

The GOP has been handed a razor blade by the dimocrat’s and they are following the enclosed instructions and using it on their collective wrist.

Since Obambi has already said he will never sign the Boehner Bill, why not pass a bill that actually CUTS SPENDING?!?!?

Passing a crap bill and then having it rejected as "too extreme" on top of that is the worst possible outcome for the GOP.

Idiots!

Didn’t Reid say it was DOA? So what difference does it make?

My hope is that this will spur the Tea Party to even greater action against both parties.

Now THAT's what I'm talkin about!

I realize the default will not occur on the BS deadline, but we will either stop meeting our obligations or default. So what is the preferred plan of the aggrieved members of the board?

I take it this board prefers default? There is no need for a default. A default can only occur if Bambi and Turbo Tax Timmy cause it to happen. There is enough money coming in to pay bonds coming due.

After listening to the reasoned and well-informed Paul Ryan on Hannity, I tend to agree with him. He's backing the Boehner plan.

The GOP is about done, indeed. I mean, it’s still better than letting Pelosi and Reid take over the profitable businesses once this phony inbred currency system goes kaput, because, that is their plans, after all, to completely destroy the banks via either stonewalling or overspending and never paying back in technicality.

I do not know what the GOP is thinking, but the country is going to go down from here on out.

What would have been logical would be sensitive cuts and killing a few bad corrupt banks, but nooooo!!!

You see, the problem is we are getting listed, gays, blacks and even ultimately jews too, for, why not... and let us mention this, what makes someone Christian, eh? Oh, and all those social security numbers indicating what kind of red or blue state area you come from, along with this illicit census.

Can we say the apocalypse is on its way?
Because, the stimulus and spending is for the government and government only, it is not for “circumstances” or “contingencies” like the economy, it is for government. So, it is for a specific program no one is really sure about, unless one is a bit aware that evil has a life of its own and a plan of its own, and it is to serve that evil, much like laissez faire capitalism is a motivator, so is laissez faire government a motivator of corruption at the government level.

So, the plan is straight through red nazism, ie. a sort of mushy combination of attracting the weak to be listed (gays) and getting rid of the strong, the gun owners, first. So they go red first and then when this dark matter of bureaucrate and so called independents get what they think is their way, they will eat their own selves and start attacking the weak they initialy pretended they supported, after having listed them.

THe point of the exercise of opposing Zero was not to punish but to expose the paranoia and the danger that such people are always paranoiac, no matter how appeased. It was for their own good too. But, no, the GOP is corrupt and cannot manage the attacks of the left very well, so it caves again or tries to get its mislea biscuit piece of pie in that looting system.

Once Reid and Obama see how hard it was just to get this lousy bill through the House, they will sign onto it as the best they can hope for.

Calm down folks. We haven't the numbers to force the issue. If we don't compromise, and the result is either a partial government shutdown or negative economic repercussions, I assure you that Republicans will receive the blame. Save your powder for 2012 when we have a real chance to unseat Obama and pick up sufficient seats in the Senate to enact meaningful change.

After we go into a full blown Depression, market crash, lose our homes, jobs, treasures and retirement funds, would someone please remind me of how this makes a difference, one way or the other.

Intelligent life does not exist in DC.

I’m getting a headache.

At what point will the old guard GOP push the tea party out and create the fertile ground for a real third party?

I hope the TEA party continues to win primaries to replace unacceptable Rs.

Also, will the GOP even care that they guarantee an Obama second term and their own minority status?

This bill will murder obama and the dems. The ONLY thing Rs gotta be wary of is being blamed. Passing things and presenting them to the Senate protects them from that.

Say this passes the House. Will it pass the Senate?

No it will not. Obama doesn’t want a solution of any kind.

"Since Obambi has already said he will never sign the Boehner Bill"

What is the expiration date on that declaration?

A "plan" that accelerates deficit spending, and 0bama will never sign it?

Well maybe . . . 0bama is fairly dumb.

I think you are right, and in this case the good outweighs the bad. The question of real cuts will come back in the election. If there are any fiscally conservatives in the campaign (Palin?, Bachmann? who else?) they will have the chance to really rub it in on the spenders (RINOs, Obama). You will need a conservative president, at least retain the House, to be able to push through real budget cuts. But one should also remember that real reforms will probably be better if they are planned, rather than pushed through in desperation.

Some real conservatives like Fred Thompson and John Bolton are saying take your winnings even if they are not all you wished for, as lons as you know that you are even better positioned to win the big battle.

At the rate things are going, there won't be elections in 2012.... we'll be under some sort of dictatorship by then.

Well, in any deal, whatever the side, the idea is to get the money upfront for whatever one really really wants. The GOP is incapable of managing this accumen and lets itself treated emotionaly by a bunch of panzy democrates pimped out by red china, and that is it.
