A plurality (47%) of Likely U.S. Voters believe it is at least somewhat likely that Palin will enter the presidential race, but that includes only 13% who feel its Very Likely. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 35% think a Palin bid is unlikely, but just five percent (5%) say its Not At All Likely. Eighteen percent (18%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Only 18% of voters think it would be good for Republicans if Palin entered the race. Sixty percent (60%) say it would be bad for the party, while 11% predict it would have no impact. Twelve percent (12%) are not sure.
Even most Republicans (52%) believe it would be bad for the GOP if Palin threw her hat in the ring, a view shared by 74% of Democrats and 54% of voters not affiliated with either major party.

You should stay out of it, it has nothing to do with you.
Are you serious? You and everyone you know would vote for a person even if they were not on the ballot?
That is pure insanity!
Tell me you are joking.
Thanks very much for your very kind words. I know I appreciate them and I’m sure DJ does too. She and I try very hard to be reasonable, but I know that I’m not always successful. Tempers flare and after repeated run in’s with the same posters time after time, posting the same debunked crap (spam) my patience will sometimes run out, even though I know it’s sometimes better to completely ignore those posts and those posters, but never the nasty disrputive ones who cause others a lot of grief.
Oh yes, I hear you on that!
Our Al B. has painstakenly posted linked, referenced facts, only to be ignored, dismissed and met with the same old ignorant rants.
Those posters who engage in that behavior are disruptive trolls and they have no place here, IMO. They flit from thread to thread, posting the same disinformation (lies and smears) despite being linked to the facts and truth.
BUMP
I do not understand WHY a poster has to troll supporters of someone they do not support. That includes people that go to Perry threads to post flame bait.
I have read articles about Perry that make it impossible for me to support him. I don't post that on Perry threads. It is impossible to discuss it rationally.
I would discuss Palins record if anyone actually tried that. They don't.
I’m afraid they aren’t joking. These whiney crybabies don’t care about the future of our country and would rather sit out an election if their favorite doesn’t win. I don’t understand it when we have the absolutely worst person ever in the WH who would do anything to finish off our Constitutional Republic. 0bama is pure evil.
I'm focused on defeating the establishment GOP. There wouldn't be an Obama if they weren't so inept and/or corrupt themselves. I'll focus on defeating Obama after them. It's you who have your priorities mixed up.
Who the heck are you to tell anyone to stay out of it. If you post on a public forum people are entitled to comment on said post. Grow up.
Sarah Palin stated when she was in Iowa that she has never won a poll but she has won elections. She ignores polls. So do I. I always have. You can get a poll to show anything you want. Just ask questions the "right" way.
All of FR cheered when Bush declared he would not govern by polls. Suddenly polls and their false message have become very important to some. I suspect it's because the poll, honest or not, supports their point of view.
What the hell does saying “I’m sitting out the election if Palin doesn’t win” mean if Palin doesn’t win the primary mean? I was in the conversation where he said he was going to sit on the couch and enjoy his retirement.
No need to post in all caps. Get a grip for God’s sake.
Kind of sounds like a Perry supporter. No matter what is posted about his record, his ardent supporters put their fingers in their ears.
But the idiot they elected in 2008 is hurting us and the economy. My teenagers can’t find summer jobs, my wife is unemployed for several months. So it matters that we nominate the most electable candidate.
14 Reasons Why Rick Perry Would Be A Really, Really Bad President
There are links in the article to sources.
He’s in the race, he’s polling well and if he doesn’t win the primary, I don’t see any of his FR supporters saying they will sit out the election in a temper tantrum.
Hell I voted for McCain because of knowing that 0bama was a marxist. I can’t stand McCain but I saw the evil in 0bama so I did my civic duty to keep him out of office. I will do my civic duty to work on removing the worst mistake this country has made so that we have a chance of keeping our Republic.
The lesser of two evils is still evil.
"Anybody but Bush" didn't work for the left. Neither will "Anybody but Obama".
We have one shot at picking the right person. We need to choose wisely and carefully.
Hell will freeze over before I vote for the clod kicking cowboy from Texas. I live in Alabama and if he needs my vote to win, he has already lost.
I’m not interested in debating this with you.
