Anyone can stand back and criticize, but it takes a real leader to jump in and and SHOW people how it’s done.
Wow I...I wonder who she’s talking about?
hee hee hee.
Can’t get the video to play...bump for later.
Who cares?
Yada, yada, yada.
I’m at the point where, with respect to the three GOP candidates currently left standing, I have no preference one way or another. I’ll vote for any one of them in the general, but I’ll be voting against 0bama, not for the GOP candidate.
When I finally get a chance to vote in my state’s primary (by which time it’ll probably be all over but the crying), I’m writing in Palin.
My advice to other primary voters: if you have a strong preference from among the current candidates, by all means vote for that person. But if you, like me, think every one of the about equally flawed, then write in Palin. I’d love to see her consistently get 5-6% of the vote in every state. For those who protest, “But that’ll just hand the nomination to ________,” I say, who cares.

She will be on the Cain train shortly.
She would be far better to leave the capitalism part out and call it in a leftist term fascism or interventionism.
Capitalism is not the problem.
just saying
I am very disappointed with her decision. Will this speech get any press at all? Has it? Her “voice” is now very small because she has no real power and is not a threat to hold any real power. She’s not a Rush Limbaugh who can influence by virtue of a radio network. If she wants to have any real influence this isn’t the way to do it.
She has the EXACT right message for these times, but had she run, could she have really gotten that message out, or bascially have it buried by an avalanche of media lies and smears and the non-stop three-ring-circus they would hang around her neck? In the 2008 election, her fine record of governance in AK never even really got out at all.
Not running diminishes her megaphone somewhat, but in the long-run, she might actually accomplish more this way. Going up directly against Obama’s billion-dollar war chest and the rabid media who salivate like wolves to chew her to pieces is too blatantly a suicide mission. Best to stay in guerilla mode to keep the message alive.
On this point, she's exactly correct. As much as I've complained about the spoiled brats that are protesting outside the Federal Reserve building in Chicago (I work directly across the street from it, and have to walk through these crowds every day) there is some number of folks in that particular crowd that are singularly focused on the message around Corporate control of Government and Government intervention in the free market.
When I've stopped and talked to these individuals, who are easily identified by the signs they're holding, their reasoning for being there is as sound as anyone's on this forum that complains about "crony capitalism" and Obama's meddling in our free market system.
The point I make in return to them is all about being careful about who they allow to surround them, lest their message be drowned out. I quickly point to the union presence in these crowds as being there purely for the purposes of getting Obama re-elected, and other left-wing radical organizations like "Families United" which are pro-union, pro-illegal immigration. (Talk about a conflicting message there!)
Bottom line is I think she's right that a fair amount of the "occupy wall street" crowd might be open to actual, non-crony capitalism.
The rest are nothing more than Union thugs and spoiled rich brats wasting their college education money. Won't mommy and daddy be proud of Junior come Christmas break!
Dad: So tell me Junior, why are your grades all F's this semester?
Junior: I was out protesting for the cause Dad! By the way,I'm broke, can I borrow your American Express Black Card?
Who?
Is she a candidate or something?
I’m on a low bandwidth connection this weekend; anybody got a link to the speech only? Don’t really want to wait for the buffer to fill up to watch a local radio jock throw t shirts to the crowd.
