FedCLEVELAND, Ohio -- Speakers at an Occupy Cleveland rally near the Free Stamp in Willard Park said the movement was endorsed today by supporters on the left and the right, which tells them they are on to something.

"The board of directors of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream said today they backed the movement," Chris Sobolewski told a crowd of about 200 people Saturday afternoon. "Then we learned that Fed Up USA, one of the founding groups of the Tea Party also support the movement.

"I figure any time you can get a bunch of hippies who make ice cream and a bunch of right-wingers to agree then you've got something," he said.

Signs bearing slogans like "Where's our loophole?" "Greed will be the end of America" and the timely "Vote no on issue 2" were everywhere at the park

The “TEA Party” supporters of this movement are all Ron Paul people or Libertarians that are so far off the Libertarian scale it is hard to tell them apart from Larouchers.

“and some said they intend to camp out indefinitely downtown or nearby.”

LOL! “or nearby”. In other words, they’re homeless.

The "Tea Party" isn't like their stupid top down controlled "Occupy" movement.

Anybody can start a tea party in their neighborhood. That is why they can't stop it. The Tea Party is the American people.

Spider vs. Starfish.

We’re being sucked in to be labeled and called extremists, terrorists, and enemy of the state.

Maybe I’ve had too much coffee this morning, but I am starting to get panicky...

Since when do we allow vagrants to camp out on public property? (I didn’t see the cops allowing Tea Partiers
to do this.) How about enforcing a curfew on public property
like we have in most parks already.

Well, it just makes my day to hear that a liberal ice cream company, which proudly markets an ice cream called “Sweaty Balls” and sees nothing wrong with such a name, is supporting these latter day hippie anarchist protesters.

I think the rule is, if the protesters are in favor of liberal causes, then they are given a pass on laws regarding vagrancy or getting parade permits to protest or being compelled to observe a curfew when a public park is closed the for night. It’s all about liberalism.

I don’t think there has been a time when TEA partiers have tried to do something like this. At every TEA Party rally I’ve attended, we always had permits for every place we gathered.

According to their website, they are a group of investors who first protested the Bear Stearns merger with JP Morgan with taxpayer dollars without any vote from Congress. The merger happened after the Bear Stearns bailout failed. Prior to the merger, the Fed gave $29 billion to JP Morgan, which I assume is where FedUp USA gets the “government money in the purchase” but I didnt find anything relating to taxpayer money for the purchase.

In Feb 2008, Bear was trading at $93/share. The initial purchase offer was $2/share, then raised to $10/share. Im sure that is where the majority of the outrage came from.

There may be some TEAParty people involved BUT, and this is a really important BUT, yesterday elements of that group ATTACKED THE SMITHSONIAN with the intention of burning it to the ground.

DO NOT TRUST OCCUPY GROUPS or their running dog lackeys.

There should not be given be any legitimacy to this movement by any GOP candidate or tea party group. The “occupy grpups” are being encouraged and organized.. by the Obama regime and streight out of the Lenin play book when the bolshitiiviks wrecked the Kerensky government and any chance of a democratic reform in Russia.

Local tea party groups should be protesting in front of the Cleveland Plain Dealer offices branding them “bolshitivik sympathisers”.
