Sharpton: 'Occupy' Movement Ideally About 'How We Distribute The Wealth In This Country'
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Thanks, Reverend Al. Really. Sure, we know that the left is all about the redistribution of wealth rather than its generation. Still, it's instructive to hear a leading lefty say it in such stark terms. As clear a statement of the manifesto since candidate Obama told Joe The Plumber that "spread the wealth around" is the way to go.

On his MSNBC show this evening, Sharpton declared that his view of the Occupy Wall Street movement is that it should be about "really, how we distribute the wealth in this country."

How about this?

You provide value to your employer, and your employer gives you wealth.

You provide value to your customer, and your customer gives you wealth.

What’s wrong with that system of “distribution?”

Oh, I forgot, it leaves out government and its pimps.

Not that we’re surprised . . .

Reverend Al gives away the game about Occupy Wall Street. Goal is how “we distribute the wealth in this country.” Ping to Today show list.

How ‘bout this “rev”? Everyone who works, gets some wealth! You are familiar with the concept of work, aren’t you?

Just redistribute yours to me, Slick Al, and we’re good to go.

We understand that Al. We think that the distribution of wealth should be determined by individual merit and the free market.

You think it should be done at the point of a Government gun.

Therefore no further negotiation is possible between us at all. But we’ll make you a deal. We won’t shoot first. But once the shooting starts, Al, we’re coming after you.

Deal?

Sharpton’s got to be pulling down some big bucks in this latest gig - wonder if he’d like to share some of that money with employees earning less. He needs to lead by example...

The Occupy Wall Street movement ... should be about "really, how we
distribute the wealth in this country."

Here's what it's about:

Let’s start this idea of spreading the wealth around by distributing Rev. Al’s shake-down stash.

You spread the wealth equally among all people in this country and in 2 years the same dumbass dipsh$t liberals would be broke and begging for handouts again.

It irks me that these Libs use the phrase "The wealth".
It's like they think the pie is only so big, there's only so much "wealth", and they have to get "their share".

They just don't get making the damn pie bigger!

Al Sharpton is an American Baptist minister, civil rights activist, and radio talk show host; he has a net worth of $5 million. Al Sharpton has earned his net worth as host his own radio talk show, Keepin’ It Real, and his regular guest appearances on Fox News such as The O’Reilly Factor, CNN, and MSNBC. Sharpton’s supporters praise “his ability and willingness to defy the power structure that is seen as the cause of their suffering” and consider him “a man who is willing to tell it like it is”. Born in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, he became a licensed and ordained Pentecostal minister by Bishop F.D. Washington at the age of nine.
