Occupy L.A. Speaker: Violence will be Necessary to Achieve Our Goals
Pajamas Media ^ | 10/11/2011 | Zombie

"Citizen journalist Ringo captured this speaker at the Occupy Los Angeles camp a few days ago letting the cat out of the bag: After dismissing nonviolence as a dead end, he admits that for the Occupiers to achieve their goals, violence and bloodshed will be necessary:

Here’s a transcript, starting at 32 seconds into the video:

Occupy L.A. Speaker: “One of the speakers said the solution is nonviolent movement. No, my friend. I’ll give you two examples: French Revolution, and Indian so-called Revolution.

Gandhi, Gandhi today is, with respect to all of you, Gandhi today is a tumor that the ruling class is using constantly to mislead us. French Revolution made fundamental transformation. But it was bloody.

India, the result of Gandhi, is 600 million people living in maximum poverty.

So, ultimately, the bourgeosie won’t go without violent means. Revolution! Yes, revolution that is led by the working class.

Long live revolution! Long live socialism!”

Crowd: [Cheers.]

Sorry Skippy. You might have a “master’s degree” be we conservatives have all of the guns and ammo. Most are veterans. You might just want to go back to mommy and daddy’s basement and get back to the video games.

Put away the pepper spray and rubber bullets.
If these people want to die for their cause, let’s help them.
I am in no way happy with where our nation is head, but I don’t advocate violence.

So enough bloodshed would have turned India into an opulent state?

Most normal people watching this say yeah, this was tried in the sixties and seventies, and hell if we’re going to give in a second time.

There are times throughout history where suppression and social injustice led to armed rebellion and violence.

In an armed rebellion, the OWS supporters would last about 20 seconds. After that they would either be cowering in the mud begging for life or they would be bleeding out.

They are against war, but they want one? Not wise.

Yes, the French Revolution was bloody. It was a revolution against a monarchy and aristocrats and once the guillotine got buzzing, it ate up everyone in sight. People ratted out each other with lies and suspicions. It didn't redistribute the wealth; it destroyed the wealth for everyone, and we aren't even talking capitalism.

I lived through the hippies of the 60's. Now the survivors are all tenured profs at our universities and have reincarnated themselves in these nutjobs. Where are the citizens who are trying to work and carry on their lives? The media is so busy promoting this occupy bunch, they don't even talk about anything else.

“we conservatives have all of the guns and ammo”

This is not true. The left has some elements which are armed. Principally gangbangers and the like, but also some racially genocidal groups and they do have some vets as well. Most large city police organizations would swing left, and probably most military officers and support MOS enlisted personnel. Add to this the fact that most conservatives choke at the idea of ‘breaking the law’, and the left relishes it.

It would not be pretty. Civil wars are always harder and more bloody than the proponents expect. A US civil war in the current day would resemble the Spanish Civil War in many ways.

Their main weak points are that they are lazy, fractious, self indulgent, addicted to magical thinking and with not a clue about logistics or in some cases sanitation and personal hygiene. They are mostly clumped in cities too.

Violent revolution? Maybe in your Democrat-controlled cities.

Outside of city-limits, you will find that your ironic T-shirts dont make good bullet-proof vests.

And it should be noted that cities dont produce their own food, and the urban Quaker population are not keen on being ruled by white hipsters. Oh, they also have guns too.

“They are mostly clumped in cities too.”

Perfect. Secure the perimeter of the city limits, turn off the water, electricity and gas, and starve them to death. Nothing goes in, and nothing comes out. Anybody tries to leave; Shoot them on the spot. Problem solved.

Bring it on. The American people will not stand for a revolution that brings in MORE tyranny. These fools can find what they want in North Korea. I bet we could all chip in and send them there.

There are a lot of good people in the cities too.

Tares and wheat, all mixed together.

To me it's surreal. On SNL last weekend they were trying to ridicule conservatives for saying that these bozos were not the same thing as the Tea Party. I had to leave the room ... it was like Pravda. I do notice that people - that is liberals - are kind of quiet about the whole thing. I could almost believe they aren't really going along with it.
