Former Minnesota Gov. and professional wrestler Jesse Ventura is so upset by the dismissal of his airport security lawsuit that he threatened Friday to apply for dual citizenship so he can spend more time in his beloved Mexico -- or run for president of what he labeled "the Fascist States of America."

Governor Ventura`s chief of staff pleaded guilty today in a Hennepin County court, to charges of indecent conduct. Steven Bosacker was ticketed earlier this month, after an undercover police officer said he found him masturbating and making sexually suggestive comments at a Minneapolis health club. Bosacker insists he was not masturbating, but does admit that non-verbal communication took place between himself and the officer. In a statement, Bosacker said he decided to plead guilty to avoid a long and costly trial. Currently Bosacker is on an indefinite leave of absence, but says he looks forward to returning to work.

Major Bush-hater and conspiracy nut (yeah, he had a show for it). Just go away you drama queen.

But for the record, I liked him in Predator, especially when the Pred’ turned his stomach into a man-hole.

Former staffers describe mansion as ‘party house’
Posted: Tuesday, June 18, 2002

ST. PAUL (AP) — The governor’s mansion, sometimes known as the “people’s house,” looked more like “Animal House” at times when Gov. Jesse Ventura’s adult son entertained visitors, former staffers said.

Guests at weekend parties hosted by Tyrel Ventura damaged furniture, drank wine, beer and liquor purchased at state expense and once vomited on a bedspread made especially for a visit by then-Vice President Al Gore, the former workers said.

State troopers assigned to security even began confiscating driver’s licenses from guests arriving in the early morning hours, partly to determine who was in the house and partly to head off possible underage drinking, said Dan Creed, the mansion’s former manager.

Tyrel Ventura, now 22, declined to comment. He no longer lives at the residence, nor do his parents, who have a home and horse farm in suburban Maple Grove.

But John Wodele, a spokesman for the governor, accused the former staffers of exaggerating what went on at the mansion in retaliation for being laid off when it closed in April after budget cuts. The mansion will reopen later this summer but the staffers aren’t being rehired.

Of Creed, he said, “This is a disgruntled employee who is sadly using the governor’s children to get back at the governor because the governor essentially fired him for incompetence.”

However, Wodele acknowledged some property damage that required “minor repairs,” and Charlie Weaver, Ventura’s public safety commissioner, confirmed that troopers were concerned about drinking and did take licenses.

Creed said none of the staff talked about the partying until they were asked by reporters, who had been tipped by some young people who visited the mansion.

“We’re not out trying to be vindictive,” he said. “We don’t have an ax to grind.”

Creed said the drinking and guests were a problem from the first year Ventura was in office, and were worse on weekends when the governor and first lady were at their suburban ranch.

He estimated property damage — a broken antique chair, two or three tables that needed refinishing, a broken pool cue and broken glasses — at a few thousand dollars. The staff also spent a lot of time picking up after Tyrel Ventura and his visitors, he said.

My second favorite example of how selection bias leads to bad statistical inference: "Fully 1/3 of the main cast of Predator went on to become state governors of major dairy states."

So, I don’t care about Jesse Venture that much, but didn’t he have a case?

Are all of you just so happy with TSA that you’re glad that his case was thrown out?

What ever happened to caring about freedom, or does that only matter when it is someone you like?

gads, where am I? DU?

I don’t mind if Ventura goes to Messico. What bothers me is he might come back.

It always was and is, ALL about Ventura and his unjustified ego.

Deploying the knee-jerk, always overplayed “Fascist” label, nails this poseur for what he is: another pedestrian, clueless Leftist.

” - - - run for president of what he labeled “the Fascist States of America.”

Uh, Jesse, yeah, the “States” that you want to be president of are in over 140 Obamavilles. You can have them, as they are not working out for us.

I don’t understand that.

Doesn’t freedom mean more to people than whether or not you LIKE somebody?

Yet, last I looked, nobody gives a ding dong on this thread.

Wow, how impressive, such noble purpose, care for the common man and all that. Out the window because “you’re glad he is gone.”

OK, I thought this was a conservative place. Maybe even Christian. Guess not.
