What the graph shows is that the more plant life existent, the more carbon gets sequestered, the lower the Earth's temperature becomes:

The Carboniferous and early Permian were periods of huge plant growth.

So today on a large scale, the Earth is gaining plant growth, leading to global cooling. On the smaller scale, the Earth is still warming from the end of the Great Ice Age, not to be confused with one of the Snowball Earth Periods.

Naturally, any Lib immediately gets the obvious confused and sees everything backwards, since they continue to look to the past as the ideal social and environmental conditions. Trouble is, Libs have poor eyesight and can only see back a handful of centuries...
