My American co-religionists are an unending source of exasperation to me. They think they're SO smart, and SO connected, and SO cool...they don't want to be seen supporting an "out" cause like Israel.
My Christian friends, here and in meatspace, **understand** Israel better than my cocktail party crowd. Feh.
