Can you imagine the talking heads if Romney comes in 4th! Hahahahahaaaa! I would absolutely love that! Reporters interviewing reporters about how the reporters got it wrong! hohoho, Merry Christmas!

"Paul’s campaign was “done for” before it ever started, the guy is completely insane and would get us all killed."

But what if he is correct?

You’re forgetting Perry has had some very good debates recently. I attended a forum where he was GREAT.

Actually, fromer Cain supporters are spread pretty evenly across the candidates.

The move to write in Cain is gaining steam. He still has a strong support system, and is still on the ballot in key states.

After everything said and done I like Perry/Bachmann. Rick is also good but too wimpy. Really would like to see Jim DeMint run.

Titans...wishing Paul would just bow out....he’s not a Republican and should have never been in this race. But as usual he’s up for causing discord and trouble as before. I dislike him almost as much as Obama. He plays with elections and uses his faithful followers to keep him “alive”...just so he can play in the arena. He knows he can’t win this time either.

Sarah was my first choice, too, but I think Newt's the best we got now, despite the obvious baggage.

As an aside, I believe Mittens would have locked up the nomination months ago had he done a mea culpa on Romneycare instead of trying to rationalize it. Any attempt to move away from it now would be seen as just another flip-flop. At least Newt's done the mea culpas about his couch session with Pelosi and some other things, and he's proven his conservative bona fides back in the '90s during his term as Speaker.

..and Paul blames us for 9/11...that alone should tell those who support him the grey matter isn’t connecting.

From what I could tell, that article was simply talking about how the last few percentage points of Cain’s support (right at the end) was spread. I was referring to where Cain’s support went from his peak (which I think in some Iowa polls was near 30%) to where it is now.

Yes, it was spread, but among the early folks to leave Cain, Newt got many of them. Those folks were Newt’s surge and those folks were Newt’s tea party folks.

Later on, I think the Cain jumpers became spread out among a lot of folks IMO.

I think people are hungry for Reagan and anyone who has a connection to Reagan. We’ve had enough of Obama and his arrogant socialism.

Polls, Polls, Polls! I’ll be glad when we get a vote. I think a vote a caucus or whatever, will clarify the leadership of Republican field and hopefully eliminate those who lack a chance. Some of the candidates are only causing strife by attacking their fellows.

Not only has Perry been doing much better in the debates, he's the one with a winning RECORD. He's the ONLY one with executive experience who has created jobs in an economy where all other states were bleeding jobs, his state took on the trial lawyers (I love that one) and he's defunded Planned Parenthood and signed other pro-life legislation.

He's also a veteran. Ron Paul is the only other veteran.

>> Yes but there plenty of “ By God, I’ll show em, I’ll vote for Paul” souls out there. >>

They do that in large numbers and the Iowa Caucuses may be considered important no more. Huckabee and Paul back to back and look for an entire re do of our early state system (which would be a good thing by the way).

I like Perry - my second fave at the moment - and I love his taking on the trial lawyers - but I am not willing to give him that much credit for Texas’ economy nor am I willing to say that his “much better in the debates” is really all that good.

If he could talk the talk, he’d have wrapped this thing up by now. Because talking the talk is (like it or not) very important in this day and age for any leader. It just is, rightly or wrongly.

They should first close all of the primaries.

Next they should only have a week at most of voting.

The most reliably red conservaitve states vote first, with others following in order. States like Washington, California and Massachusetts would vote on the last day with states like Texas, Georgia, Idaho and Utah voting first.

Interesting thoughts. I like the closed primary thing.
Do not like the compressed schedule. I like things playing out.
Certainly like the more conservative states having more sway.

I can take half a loaf. Now if we can just get old Priebus on the horn, maybe we can get something done on this, huh?

LMAO.
