US Congressional panel froze $700 million in aid to Pakistan until the country gives assurances it is joining the fight against the spread of homemade bombs in the region...

“The latest move by the United States may only further hurt ties with Pakistan and contribute to the growing sense of anti-Americanism in the population”

Funny how these sort of conclusions are never applied by Reuters in reverse, e.g. “The latest move by Pakistan may only further hurt ties with the United States”, etc.

Financial aid to one of our enemies and now we're thinking about freezing it. Isn't that nice.

Why don’t they just kill all of it?Its doing us no good. The Pakastani’s are working both ways against the middle on this war on terror. Why do you think Bin Ladin was able to live in comfort right under their military’s nose.

They knew be was their but they were shielding him from us.Either that or they have the most inept security force in existence. And I don’t think that’s possible.

That's enough to pay 7,000 more US border agents $100,000 per year. That's an agent every 0.28 miles from San Diego to the Texas Gulf of Mexico.

Not only should we not give aid to Pakistan, but we should recognize the country as an enemy, and support movements to break the country up, back into its ethnic and tribal groupings.

As far as I can tell, Pakistan the Nation does little that is “good” - its people are kept dirt poor, its Government is a corrupt, elitist dictatorship, it defaults to radical Islam and is an exporter of terrorism.

The Red Cross just knocked on my door and asked if we could contribute towards the floods in Pakistan.
I said we’d love to, but our garden hose only reaches to the sidewalk...

Did they love us when we poured money all over them?
