Now that the truth is out about the 'HISTORIC WIN' for Romney does it matter?
No. It only matters as a technicality now for those who like to keep score. It would have mattered more had this been revealed on Jan 3rd. It could have given Santorum a bigger and more sustained bounce (although I don't think it would have lasted much longer than it did). Too late now. Romney already reaped most of the benefits of the media hype and headlines back when it mattered.

Agreed.
If it affects anything at all, it might slightly drop some of Romney’s support because it damages the “inevitable nominee” narrative, but I don’t think Santorum will get much out of it.

[No. It only matters as a technicality...]
TECHNICALITY? All we have been hearing on all the media is that Romney’s win in Iowa and New Hampshire was HISTORIC and now that has been debunked and you view it a mere technicality?

“It only matters as a technicality now for those who like to keep score.”
The same way Hussein’s ineligibility for the presidency is a “technicality”?

(Had FDR been GOP, there would have been no World Wars, just "The Great War" and "Roosevelt's Wars".)
