It's not all research monies scams per se, Sullivan is involved in trying to deny email access of Micheal Mann's tenure there in relation to his AGW work.
She's actively involved in white washing.

This is potentially huge...especially if it turns out she did in fact, “play with the data”.
Dr. Sullivan had skeletons ~ ACADEMIC SKELETONS ~ in her academic closet that dasn't not see the light of day. Those who knew what they were simply beat her down so she'd protect Dr. Mann from being subjected to any sort of investigation regarding what he'd done at UVA ~ on state money among other things.
This Sullivan gal and her friends in the Democrat party and at the Washington Post fought like crazy to keep "the Cooch" from investigating Mann, and presumably Sullivan, and the rest of the AGW cabal working to peddle phony baloney global warming nutso arguments.
I think the whole thing just came unstrung ~ remember those names, Warren, Sullivan, Mann, Donald Graham Jr., Warren Buffett (his investors own the Post), the editorial staff members at the Post, and a whole host of troglodytes who thought it more important to protect fraudulent misrepresentation than good science!
"The Cooch" can probably end up President if he can take down the whole fraud ridden bunch.
