Are these new “racist teachings” or are they the ones that Mormons gave up about 30 or 40 years ago? This notion of equivalency for blacks in so annoying. Why do they believe that a black man doing something bad today is equal to something a white man did generations ago? The past is something you learn from, not something you “condemn” today to provide cover for evil in the present.

The only way they could disavow them is to toss the book of Mormon and hence their whole religion. Their scripture claims God punished people with dark skin as a curse. There are plenty of tough things to explain in the Bible, but the Mormons have even heavier lifting.
