I’m in Boones Creek, Washington County. We had ambulances from our local fire stations joining in the evacuation of the injured.
Amen. At choir practice Sunday night someone said there’d been a TN youth group bus, returning from a youth event that afternoon/evening that had crashed, killing at least 3 and the others severely wounded, so much so that the responding officer had to call to be relieved he was so shook up. TN is having a very bad week. I pray God turns it to good in some way.

I know a kid from David Crockett HS who’s an altar boy at our parish (St. Mary’s) who was on this bus. He’s OK but a dozen or so kids are in serious condition.
Somebody explain to me how this happened: single-vehicle accident, clear bright day, 3:00 p.m. in the aftenoon. I’m not getting how it could have occurred.

I have heard from the news outlets that the bus rolled 5 to 6 times, so one would assume there was a great amount of speed involved. I know a kid that used to ride that very bus with that very driver and he said the woman FLEW along those roads.
It’s a funny thing... she was transported to the hospital complaining of “chest pains.” I think there’s a bit of CYA in the works
I just saw video of the bus being hauled away... there’s no way that thing rolled 5 to 6 times.
