I have a very good friend from Burkina Faso. He has been trying to get me to travel there and spend some time. He lives in the capitol city, Ougadougou (o-wa-ga-doo-goo). You can travel 10 kliks out of town and see mud hut villages! They are muslims by force, but the militants haven't been there since 1450 or so! It's too poor.
