If the first presidential debate in Denver was a game changer,Tuesday night's was not. But that doesn't mean it wasn't a spirited, heavyweight bout with several consequential moments.
President Obama entered the second presidential debate needing to make up serious ground after his first debate performance. He turned around the narrative from the first debate -- that he was listless and lethargic and on the defensive -- but showing up is one thing, winning is another. Obama needed a convincing win Tuesday night, and he did not get it.
Gov. Romney came into Tuesday night's debate needing to prove that his first performance wasn't a fluke -- in other words, that he wasn't Jimmy Carter in the Reagan-Carter debates, when Carter won early on but went on to get dominated by a Reagan comeback. Tuesday night Romney delivered again and proved his performance was consistent and legitimate. He has established himself as a legitimate alternative to the presiden

Time for Barry and Moochelle to pack up the Choom Wagon and head for Hawaii.
Why did Romney need a decisive win last night? The table was stacked against him, and he knew it, and, so did the American public.
Yes I’m expecting the Baraq Hussein Obama Presidential Library and Choom Gang Museum will have branches in Hawaii, LA, and Chicago.
bfl
He didn’t, Obama did.
He didn’t. Romney won by not losing.
I’m tired of our guys walking into fights that are rigged. Either we get a conservative moderator next time or we refuse to participate.
CNN is not impartial, although they like to pretend they are. Only CSPAN is impartial. In the next presidential debate cycle, the Republicans should only agree to CSPAN moderators.
Lib sites are all claiming Obama won. Funny, he didn’t win the debate I watched. Even with the so-called “moderator” pitching in on Obama’s side it was at best a tie and if I had to pick a winner I would pick Romney.
LOL!!!
That pesky record of Obama’s first four years keeps showing up.
Either we get a conservative moderator next time or we refuse to participate.
I agree or at least an independent moderator. What’s with this having a leftist who pose as “fair” in the media but we know are not being chosen for this position. We should initiate the debate and chose fair moderators. Romney was battling two leftists last night and still came out ahead.
Don’t forget Kenya.
Um, if I am not mistaken, Carter and Reagan only had one debate.
Freep this video. Only 76 hits so far. This guy has got it together !http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdJ_oDZ3rkY&feature=youtu.be
We listened to Romney telling the truth, and Obama lying like a rug.
Few closed minds were changed, and those with open minds can read the facts and know they were lied to.
There were two debates
Trouble is the America Obama kept showcasing in the debate----the America he claimed he put into place----is NOT the America unemployed/underpaid citizenry, being gouged at the pump, is experiencing.

Ohaha was apparently coached to begin every reply to a townhall question with "Gov Romney said." The whoppers keep on coming---blaming Bush---that TARP worked----that taxpayers got back every dime used to rescue the financial system.
Ohaha forgets that taxpayers are still owed for the billion dollar bailout of the financial industry. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac together owe taxpayers over $140 billion.
==========================================
Socialistic Obama seethes at the thought of capitalism----of people making profits by investing---Obama's hatred of capitalism showed.
When he said he wants everyone to have a chance---he stupidly fails to realize that in a capitallistic system, everybody DOES have a chance----but not everyone can or will succeed.
