Rasmussen Reports ^

Incumbent Republican Dean Heller has opened a seven-point lead over Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley in Nevada’s U.S. Senate race following their second debate and a visit by Bill Clinton to the state on Berkley's behalf.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Nevada Voters shows Heller earning 50% support to Berkley’s 43%. Four percent (4%) like some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

This race moves from a Toss-Up to Leans Republican in the Rasmussen Reports Senate Balance of Power rankings. The presidential race in Nevada is still a Toss-Up in the Electoral College projections.

I’m glad to see this too. Although I remember two years ago, people walked into their polling places first thing in the morning on election day and there were already thousands of votes for Reid and I don’t think there’s early voting there. The mob in Vegas and Reno have a great influence in elections. There’s a cure for that of course, a massive landslide in one direction. And a wave may be building.

Maybe the Nevada voters realize looking at Berkley’s plastic face for 6 years may well be just too much to stomach

It’s about time that Heller (the incumbent) got some traction there. The Rat in the race is every bit as slimy and corrupt as Dingy Harry, and she is supported by the same Las Vegas criminal machine. She could be Harry’s twin sister.

Nevada has a history of very close statewide races and a capability for Massive Democrat Vote Fraud in Vegas that is every bit as effective as it is in Chicago or Philadelphia.

Heller could use a bit more breathing room in the polls heading into election day in order to be moderately confident of maintaining his Senate seat.

“Incumbent Republican Dean Heller has opened a seven-point lead...following a visit by Bill Clinton to the state on Berkley’s behalf.”

The kiss of death.

LOL

Where does everybody got this idea that Monica Lewinsky’s ex-boyfriend is a “great campaigner”? Even when he was President, Juannita Broaddrick’s probable rapist would drive down the numbers of the person he was campaigning for, and this trend hasn’t changed since he thankfully became ex-President.

The kiss of death.

More like an act of desperation. Football coaches try a "Hail Mary" 60-yard pass because that's all that's left.

Excellent. Now if only Nevadans would get rid of the “COMMUNIST FROM SEARCHLIGHT”. He’s a Mormon too. You would think the Church would take care of this matter.

I don’t understand how Nevada is leaning towards Obama

- The senate race favors the GOP
- Obama has mouthed off on Las Vegas
- Obama has put the state in really bad shape
- Democrat Steve Wynn has come out strong against Obama
- Nevada is not known to be a moonbat state
- Nevada has a big Mormon population

A visit from the Impeached and Disbarred is usually the best thing that can happen for the Republican opponent.

Yes, Reid is to the Mormons as Pelosi, and Biden are to the Catholics. Time for both faiths to clean house.

I recall when we complained about the unfairness of the media when I was a Alf Landon campaigner saying it was almost as bad as we experienced during the Madison Administration.. LOLOL

True. Remember Harry’s last race when the unions had buses from the Casinos to the polls. Workers were compelled by their supervisors to get on the buses. While they travelled to the polls they were reminded how much Harry had done for the union. The supervisors even tried to claim the workers needed their help in the booth, because they couldn’t understand the procedure...

The ‘press’ in the olden-golden days of yore, used to be equally biased against both parties. They had a ‘US vs THEM’ attitude about the relationship between The People vs The Government.

Now, it’s 180 degrees bass-ackwards. Their attitude is biased toward The Government vs The People..............
