This man’s whole life is built on nothing but lies and attacks on men more honorable than himself.
The circumstances under which he won his medals in Viet Nam (Silver Star, Bronze Star and 3 Purple Hearts) are questionable. He then left Viet Nam before his tour was over and immediately started attacking the actions of his fellow veterans for purely political purposes.
The man is good at only one thing - marrying extremely wealthy heiresses.
For years he pretended to be Irish to endear himself to the Kennedy groupies in Massachusetts.
And as for his time as a U.S. Senator, I could not name one thing of note that he has done in his entire career.
The mere thought of this grand poseur leading the military that he mocked and defiled for political advantage is beyond the pale.
