Savage Time!
(pretty much going to be a post and bail nite for me and maybe the rest of the week. We are coming in way early to get stuff done tomorrow. The end of the year madness for our business has begun)
or listen in on the Doc’s flagship station:

Snort ...Doug ?.....Welcome to the Savage Nation ! Still some kinks to work out it seems .
Not big on advice shows but listening.
Is that what's bothering you, bunkie?
Have I got a deal for you! The Fairness Doctrine. The 1940's, 50's, 60's, 70's, and most of the 80's were a drag for me.. but you would have loved them!
Oh yes, you could talk issues from a conservative perspective back then but you put the station owner's license in jeopardy.
.. but you're not interested in that.
Any thing that wasn't conservative talk was just fine back then, no problem.
You want Mr. Radio Larry King ("You don't want to pay higher taxes? Don't you love you country?") and late night was a blast.. Powerhouse Cincinnati station WLW's Moon River -- all night every night combination of soft, dreamy music and romantic poetry set to organ accompaniment -- and the best of all TOP 40 HITS! on every AM dial. Yessiree, those were the daze.
“Don’t like conservative political talk on issues of national interest? There’s too much conservative talk and criticism of all things? All of that is a drag on talk radio? “
Did he say that today? Sounds like the old ‘you don’t want to talk about this’
Ttytt I have only listed maybe 4-5 times since he came back on-I sometimes think oh yeah -savage is on but don’t make the effort to listen, don’t know what changed but I’m just not interested for some reason.
I wish Dr. Savage well and hope he finds what attracts a whole new audience -- I would especially like to see him attract more listeners than prime time network TV has viewers.
I used to enjoy his "advice" and other routines back in the pre-9/11 days and when these guys weren't so well established
The Savage Nation is now available on seven day archive on KSFO. Click on tiny link on top of page one.
Cool. thanks
I enjoyed his show last night — the counseling sessions.
Great listening to Doc on WMAL.........
