A Maagar Mochot Institute poll released this morning shows a close race between Sheli Yechimovich's Labor party and the Bayit Yehudi (Jewish Home) party headed by Naftali Bennett for the second largest party in the Knesset.
According to the poll, Likud-Beytenu party gets 37 seats, Labor is down to 15 and Bayit Yehudi gets 14 seats.

I wish Jewish Home would take 10 more seats from Likud.
I hope they make it. A couple more from Likud wouldn’t hurt either. There are some names on its list that bother me, but ALL of labor’s list bothers me more.
They could make it close.
Jewish Home gets support from both religious and secular voters. I don’t think its surge has crested yet.
We’ll find how well they really do next week.
What effect will different combinations of results have on the likelihood of Israel taking unilateral action on the Iran/nuclear issue?
Shows three Likud seats shifted to livni...which is a wierd thing. THREE rightwing seats to the far left and livni’s whackadoos?
As for Sara, I doubt that she is so vengeful that she would go against the interests of Israel just to spite Bennett for a joke.
An Israel Today polls shows the Likud picking up 35 seats.
32 is at the low end. In no poll in the last month has it fallen below 30 seats.
40 would be a good result.
Depending on who finishes second, either Bayit Yehudi or Labor could anchor a coalition government.
