Every single such prediction heretofore has been demonstrably wrong, which is, one supposes, why we should completely re-engineer all of society in conformance to them. If Singer would reflect on the level of human starvation now and compare it to the level of human starvation only 200 years ago he would see which of the two societies is less "sustainable". An Earth without human beings is an Earth with another extinct species, nothing more; the "environment" doesn't care.

I wonder if these people ever stop to consider that in their minds the world’s greatest achievement is that women can now take the lives that grow within their own bodies. Talk about shallow and void of any critical thought.
