First, my post was in answer to why Sean, Rush & Mark will not dispute Rubio.
Second, none of you posted a viable alternative to Rubio’s proposal. Enforce the current laws? Just who will do that? Obama & Holder? LMAO....Deport 11 million illegals? there is not enough money in US Treasury to find 1 million, much less 11 million. Law enforcement can’t even find all FBI’s 10 most wanted LMAO...
As I said, the current situation is horrible. The border is porous, more are coming, welfare for illegals is bankrupting cities and states since there is no federal law requiring legal status from a national database which does not exist.
If a carrot of eventual legal status is dangled, most law abiding illegals will come out and register for the process of 13 years. When I was on a student visa, I had to register every 6 months with INS, so they knew where I was and what I was doing. Illegals have no such requirement. If they register for legal status they can be tracked. Those who do not register will be much easier to catch & deport. They won’t be able to produce the registration card.
Of course my personal preference is to round up every illegal and deport them. But I am not living in dream world. We realistically have only two alternatives...status quo or register for legal status. There is no 3rd alternative so long as Obama is president and Holder is AG and senate is democrat majority. Elections have consequences.
