I know a person who is employed by the DOJ. Their local boss was postponing all the furlough days to be taken by his employees, to be backed off from the end of September, as he was very confident that they would be canceled by then.

Someone we know had a boss that did the same thing BUT what those bosses don’t know is that those who have NOT already done their furlough days will have to do them as the savings on the furloughs were already counted on in the budget.
