I've always wondered why, if climate change were real, the assumption was that it would automatically be a bad thing. If the climate changed, it makes sense to me that some places would get better weather patterns, even if others got worse ones.

Australia is largely desert - if we're going to get more rain from climate change, I'm thinking of buying the most gas-guzzling carbon-dioxide producing vehicle I can next week.
