“im kinda surprised every Israeli household doesn’t have gas masks already”

I believe gas masks only have a certain shelf life and then you must replace them. Anyone out there know about this?

Not the mask themselves. The filters have an expiration date

that seems odd. pretty sure there’s no shelf life, tho maybe on the filters depending on how they’re made. ofc, I’d expect the filters to be sealed if they ever ‘went bad’ (it’s been years since I’ve seen one, and I don’t remember them having anything that would ‘go bad’)
