I would do it to take out Assad, all of his family.
First he did cross a line with chem weapons and the message needs to get out..killing him and family is the only message other dictators will understand.
Secondly, we need to get a message to Iran (syria is their proxy war) and hezzbolah don’t mess with chem wmd’s.( their next step would be Israel or turkey or Jordan).
Ollie North made a great suggestion of hiring former military that are now contractors ( mostly in Turkey) to go in on a covert operation—at least a thousand—to weed out and back the Least alQuida element and at least give a fighting chance when Assad is overthrown, a Possible more Jordanian like regime will emerge.

we have NO foreign policy, we have no Military polcies or strategies...THAT is the problem. And we have an administration that WANTS America to NOT be a super-power. even if you wanted America to “stay out of everything” that leaves the world to the Iranians, the Russians and Chinese.
