If Mr. Obama were deliberately aiming to wipe-out Christianity in the Middle East and near Asia, what would he do differently? Buehler? Buehler?
I think if it were deliberate he’d go after the Jews first. HE knows he can persecute them and they will still vote for him
He’s already going after the Jews. That’s what his “Middle East Peace Process” is all about, the destruction of Israel. And look how fast and hard they jumped onto George Zimmerman when they thought he was Jewish.
They closed St. Catherine’s.
Wher is St. Catherine’s?
Yep.
Ping!
Very remote - out in the Sinai desert.
It’s the name of the monastery and village that takes it’s name. It is at the base of the mountain that is believed to be Mt. Sinai where Moses received the Law. Very remote place in southern Sinai penninsula.
The US Congress continues to support Obama’s GENOCIDE
of Christians, Jews, and Americans using MB/al Qaeda
as his/DNC surrogates.
Google Achtiname — St. Catherine’s has been secure for centuries because it has a letter from Muhammad to protect it from attack.
Is nothing sacred? /s

It’s more famous than you think! It’s got a wiki page.
The monks are good guys but understandably careful with visitors: in the 19th century, a German student befriended them and then stole the earliest known copy of the New Testament from them - the Codex Sinaiticus - and then sold it to Czar Alexander of Russia. During WWII Stalin sold it to Great Britain and they still have it. The monastery has a lot of very early Christian art, including the earliest known portrait of Christ. The Greeks have kept ownership of the monastery and have had to struggle to keep everything intact.
I was privileged to stay in the monastery a couple of times while I was a UN Truce Observer in the Sinai.
WOW...cool for you!!
St Catherine’s has the best collection of early icons in the world, many in encaustic, with a few dating to the 5th and 6th centuries - the most famous and, to me, the most beautiful: The Pentocrator.
Attributed to the 5th-6th century - It appears to be the oldest of the Iconic paintings depicting Jesus - and from which hundreds of icons were painted for the churches over the next several centuries.
The face in the Pentocrator, itself, evidence suggest, was taken from the Shroud of Turin - which, evidence shows, was periodically displayed to the public.

Some of the hundreds of icons painted, using the original Pentocrator depiction.
That is a marvellous account - but what a pity to hear of that theft. Some people have no morals.
