Sandra Fluke and Obama hardest hit:

CNN – House Republicans have added a measure aimed at limiting contraceptive coverage to the spending bill coming up for a vote Saturday night, a spokesman for Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kansas, told CNN.

A senior House leadership aide confirmed that development.

The so-called “conscience clause” would allow employers and insurers to opt out of preventative care for women which they find objectionable on moral or religious grounds. That prominently includes birth control, which most insurers are required to provide for free under current Obamacare rules.

Maybe THIS is the way to get throw a monkey wrench in Soetorocare.

Send Reid specific provisions to remove that illustrate the insidious nature The Odorous Care Act and make him explain why he is going to shut down the government over a simple provision.

all institutions should be able to opt out of any preventative coverage for women that they find objectionable.

Somebody should rephrase this so that it's clear that "objectionable" refers to the preventative coverage, not to specific women.

Very good point! The government are masters at division and are also the first to object if we in the private sector implement our own division.

I am at crossed emotions saying anything good about Boehner, but maybe, just maybe he was using a strategy similar to that of Sam Houston. Wait, wait and pick the best battleground and not worry about everyone else opinions on lack of guts.

This could be San Jacinto and nobama morphs into Santa Anna.

Soooooooooo the house is doing what the American people demand...SALUTE!

But over in the Senate the traitorous gang of 25 is crouching in the corner wetting their pants because they have to make a choice....stand with the American people or stay on the DC cocktail party guests list.

Tough choice....

IMO they will take the easiest route to staying in power over the money.
In this case I think they see a wave of people willing to throw out all the Republicans who do not fight Obamacare or Democrats in general.
For many Republican RINOS the days are numbered. Conservatives will throw their efforts and money into both Republican and Democrat primaries to put conservatives more into both parties.

As Madison elaborated, the purpose of the Origination Clause is to put the “power of the purse” firmly in the hands of “the immediate representatives of the people.” Government has no resources of its own; it has only what it confiscates from the citizenry. In a free republic, liberty hinges on the ability of citizens to constrain the demands government can make. The Framers prudently concluded that the best means of constraint was to give the definitive word on taxing and spending to the House: The only legislators directly elected by the people at the time the Constitution was adopted (senators were chosen by their state legislatures until 1913); and, to this day, the only representatives who must face the voters every two years.

Being a muslim, obama NEEDS dead people who AREN’T muslims whether they be murdered unborn childen or murdered infidels around the world to justify his lousy existence and his bloodsucking god. That much is obvious.
Wonder how his gay worshippers feel about his outreach to a barbaric, rogue country that routinely and publicly hangs homosexuals.

They need to send a single CR to the senate saying Obama cannot exempt congress. Make Reid vote against that.

You know what got me? We pay 75% of the insurance coverage for congress and federal workers. If you are really lucky you might get your employer to pay half of YOUR coverage and you pay all of your dependent coverage. Sickening what you finally learn about the ruling class

Wait a minute. If we mess with Sandra Fluke’s “recreation”, we are going to anger tens of thousands of guy each year. Can the GOP afford to offend that many voters?

Correct. And it's not exactly bargain basement coverage. Some of those policies go for 20,000 a year.

What a scam.
