When you think of the Clintons, does the word "honesty" come to mind?

It does to new MSNBC host Ronan Farrow who actually said on Tuesday's The Cycle (readers are strongly advised not to have any food or fluid in their mouths before continuing reading), "They represent a style of honesty that the public craves right now" (video follows with transcript and commentary): (video)

I don’t crave being lied to. Although, oddly enough Clinton wasn’t quite as brazen as El-Presidente. He at least tried to have some wiggle room to be able to claim it wasn’t really a full blown lie. Maybe that is what they had in mind.

“Libnorance is a mental disease, and it’s getting Progressively worse!”

It’s also a mental disease that’s contagious, and no I’m not trying to be funny.

A doctor told me this in 1992.

He believed it was a result of people becoming addicted to their own body chemistry.

Their off the wall comments and behavior is a way for them to trigger the release of the chemicals in their body.

He described it as craving a “mob” mentality.

Farrow is so deep into fantasyland he should be diagnosed as comatose.

Why isn’t Mr. Smarty Pants a lecturer of nuclear science at MIT? Or a mathematician? Or a technological innovator? Or a master of the universe, lol? Nope, he’s a “human rights activist” with a crazy (and she is crazy) Mama Rose mother.

For Beelzebubba, lying came as naturally as breathing.

That’s not honesty, but it might be a “style of honesty”.

During the Lewinsky scandal, I saw some Dem pundit, Victor Camber?, actually say “just because the President’ s semen is on her dress does not mean they had a sexual relationship.” You can’t go much farther up then that.

“Style of honesty”. The expression says much more about Mr. Farrow than about the Clintons.

Why isn’t Mr. Smarty Pants a lecturer of nuclear science at MIT? Or a mathematician? Or a technological innovator? Or a master of the universe, lol?

Beacuse those professions would require some amount of effort or (genuinely) innate ability. He has chosen a lazy man's path that simply requires him to regurgitate politically correct opinions in order to get his room and board, and if not for the parties involved with his conception - insofar as we actually know them - he'd as likely be spending this week in a Russian detention area charged with hooliganism as be producing peaeans to the honesty stylings of the Clinton dynasty (and apparently being paid for same).

Maybe I'm being too hard on him, as it is possible that he's another Albert Einstein... just one with a penchant for slumming.

What a situation we’re in when a hardened FReeper like myself says “Hmmmm. Well, I’d probably take the Clintons over Obama.”
