The Celts liked to travel a lot. They founded colonies in NW Spain and Poland. They also inhabited a portion of Asia Minor and were known as the "Galatians,"

"Galicia" is a region in Southeastern Poland/Western Ukraine. And the speculation is that is where the name came from.

"Galicia" is also a region in northwestern Spain - the northwestern corner of the Iberian peninsula, above Portugal. The people of the region have Celtic ancestry and play the bagpipes - bands from that region march in the New York City Saint Patrick's Day parade.

We live on a dirt road. The County proposed paving it some years ago and the property owners successfully petitioned for them not to.

Not to mention that they’re using carbon dating to prove that the roads are pre-Roman. That one sets off my irony meter considering that one of their primary arguments against evolution is that radiometric dating methods are not reliable.

They civilized them, but the Celts just wanted to be left alone.

It puts the early chapters of Genesis in context with regards to human dispersion, cultural development and written history. Brian Thomas could have elaborated with more background info, but it's best to do extra reading on the anthropological features of a Genesis model of cultural progress, rather than the mainstream interpreters (who are often wrong).

For example, the recorded data in Genesis about the lifespan of the patriarchs after Noah must be explained. How can that information be falsified? That's a very good question for anyone to really think about.

I did some research on them and it appears that they traveled from the west along the Po River and settled there in what the Romans eventually called Galicia.
