The stars of "Duck Dynasty" might be America's most popular TV family, but that could change very soon — because Phil Robertson has made some strong (and seriously offensive) anti-gay remarks that have sparked instant backlash.
Speaking with GQ, Robertson lamented that when "everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong ... sin becomes fine." So just what qualifies as sinful in his book?
"Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there — bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men," he declared.

Today there are so many minefields out there, you have to keep your mouth totally shut to escape stepping in it.
The liberal / progressives had a huge lie out about how it wasn’t what the president of Chick-fil-A had said, it was about how he had donated to a hate group. Big lie as seen by this incident and how someone can get thrown out of the military just by saying nothing (when they are suppose to say how they love homosexuality).
The libs have been gunning to kill this show since the first utterance of "In Jesus' Name...". This needs to be responded to in the same manner at the Chik-fil-a boycott: SUPPORT THE ONES SUPPORTING DD!!!

Me thinks they doth protest too much.
Everything Phil said is Biblically based.
Don’t like it?— then take it up with the Author.
Anyone who thinks his remarks are incendiary, better get used to the heat.
this is why i respect this man more than most of the religious con men.

The show itself is pretty goofy - a somewhat typical scripted "reality" show. The guys themselves are what makes them interesting, more off the show than on it.
Time to trash his reputation, his program and his Christian beliefs. Kind of like Megan Kelly. Imagine, a saint from northern Europe being white. How racist is that???
That is my question too. Telling the truth these days seems to bother some people.
Of course, calling Tea Party members ‘tea baggers’ is perfectly acceptable when that "act" is exactly what some gays do (disgusting).
He told the truth.

That is about right. Bluntly, to all offended gays and others,
don’t hate the messenger, hate the Message...(if you dare).
Haven’t watched it but I’m guessing their demographic group isn’t the same as the one for “The New Normal”.
It begins. The left has been dying to trash this bunch.
If the family sticks by its convictions I will retain my respect for them. If they grovel and cave I will lose respect.
