Today Mississippi Representative Omeria Scott (D-District 80) introduced House Bill 231. In her bill she proposes that anyone who sells ammunition in the State of Mississippi be required to keep records of each sale. If passed,
every merchant, dealer or pawnbroker that sells pistol or rifle cartridges, shall keep a record of all sales of such cartridges sold, showing the description of the kind and caliber of cartridges so sold, the name, address and drivers license or social security number of the purchaser, and the description of and the quantity of cartridges and date of sale.
These records, which include social security number, name and address would be open to public inspection at any time to persons desiring to see it.
Representative Scott must not be concerned about her constituents privacy since she wants to publish everyones SSN, name and address. These folks like Rep. Scott and Sen. Jackson II do nothing but harm the State of Mississippi and its citizens.
The fight for freedom and liberty never ends, those who are seeking power and authority over us are always working to gain more power and influence and to take away liberty and freedom.
Contact your elected representatives and let them know you expect them to fight against this bill and any similar bills.
There is a link at the above URL to allow Mississippi residents to contact their legislators to FIGHT this proposed bill.
Where liberty dwells, there is my country." Benjamin Franklin
That is probably a violation of federal law too
The answer is to immediately gather, publish and disseminate the personal information of her and those who sign on in support of her bill. SSN, Address, cell number,,,,, everything.
What we needs is some damn wig control.
Why not just pass a law prohibiting criminals from owning guns or ammo? Oh, wait. Never mind.
I think that fat, stupid people should have to be registered.
“Refuse, resist.”
Reload.
Good plan. Hit back and hit back hard.
But, I thought that making someone show an ID was RACIST?? Does that cretin think that her people don’t buy ammo too?
I have a better idea.
Let’s have every politician in Mississippi reveal exactly who their funders were during their campaign(s), plus who funds their junkets, their addresses, SS#s, email addresses, as well as a list of every non-government individual and group they meet with on a daily basis.
If anyone needs a thorough rectal exam it is them!
augh.
No, they steal it.
“MR Chairman, I rise to propose an amendment to the honorable Ms. Scott’s bill; to wit...
All servants duly elected to serve in the State of Mississippi must publish their entire family’s name, address, telephone number and social-security number in their local newspaper every quarter while they serve in office.
>>No, they steal it.
The ones that WORK with me buy it.
SSN is a retirement account number. It says on the card in clear English “Not to be used for identification.”
This is fascism pure and simple.
Stitch together any legislation she drafts with cotton thread to form a makeshift parachute and airdrop this crazy-eyed socialist lunatic into Haiti.
Can someone inform us of what are the chances of such a bill being enacted. Close to zero, I would think.
“I think that fat, stupid people should have to be registered.”
Thank you. I needed that laugh today.
