Hangmen of the time, who were deaf and mute, would have cut off the heads of the prisoners and thrown them into the well, while remaining body parts were given to the prisoners relatives.

Robert E. Howard, creator of Conan in the 1930’s pulp magazines, was right.

To me, it’s amazing that all of these civilization artifacts of a few thousand years are buried under so much dirt, rocks, and rubble, only to be located a few thousand years later.
Has global warming piled so much rubble over our history???
This doesn’t sound like a real nice place.
I think that I will take waterboarding torture!!!

If I understand this story correctly, the researchers also found torture chambers, death pits and even a well covered in what appears to be blood......

They should try excavating beneath the White House.

I didn't catch that part.
Could you repeat it? Several times?

Not everyone who lives—or lived—in that area is a muslim.
Unlike yourself, I’ve been there and know this to be true.
Tard.

And, Guys?
They found torture chambers, death pits and even a well covered in what appears to be blood, too.
In case you missed that part ..... about the chambers, pits, well and blood.

Notably absent from this discovery were the remains of any comfy chairs, soft cushions (with the stuffing all up one end) or any Cardinal’s robes.
Not that anyone expected.......
