San Diego votes GOP for Mayor more often than not.

Unfortunately that gay Republican that ran last time is running for Congress. The idea of an “openly gay” Republican Congressman leaves me uneasy.

There’s only one thing worse than an openly gay member of Congress; a closeted member of Congress susceptible to blackmail.

Mayors in all of Texas, S.F. and Los Angeles are non-partisan elections. What about San Diego, is it an openly partisan election? Or is it just at Faulconer calls himslef “Republican”. I don’t know if they have party registration in CA any more, but they once did.
