One of the hallmarks of a totalitarian state is that there are so many laws and regulations that no one can possibly know what they are, let alone obey them. Thus everyone is a criminal, and only the despots discretion separates the solid citizen from the criminal. Unfortunately, the United States is rapidly approachingif it has not already reachedthis dystopian status.
So Glenn Reynoldss great column in USA Today should be a starting point for lots of conversations.
Glenn offers several suggestions for how this situation might be remedied, which, again, are a starting point for discussion. But the real bottom line is that we need much, much less government.

But this is something we need to pay attention to, because most assuredly with our nations socialist party gaining more and more power this will soon will become an issue.
The trite phrase you have nothing to worry about if youre not doing anything wrong will be a moot point if there are enough laws to say ANYTHING you do could be wrong.
“In a tyranny, everyone is a criminal, except the government or anyone who works for the government or is part of the government.”
Do you think that we want those laws to be observed? We want them broken. Theres no way to rule innocent men. The only power the government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there arent enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws.

The mainstream's waking up to the horror Obama's creating...
There are several practical approaches to this, that conservatives should be aware of, and try to bring about.
Once conservatives have taken control of the Republican party away from the RINOs, and have majorities in both houses of congress and the presidency, they will have to act swiftly to restore America.
Judicial reform begins in earnest with two individuals, the chairmen of the senate and house judiciary committees. For those committees are how congress creates the structure of the federal judiciary other than the Supreme Court.
And the judicial system objectively needs major structural and procedural reforms. This by itself will break up all sorts of logjams, corruptions, assaults on justice, secret courts, detention without arrest, and other failures that currently exist in the system.
Next, and more to the point, is the elimination of federal criminal and civil laws that are redundant with state laws, that exist solely so the federals can assert authority in state and local legal matters.
On its own timetable, other states should do what Arizona is contemplating, to put into state law that evidence obtained through illegitimate means, such as 4th amendment violating wiretapping, surveillance, anonymous informants, hacking, and illegal searches, is *inadmissible* in state criminal and civil court hearings.
So even if the federals provide such information to state authorities, they cannot use it at trial, nor can they use evidence *derived* from that information.
It is just the Pharisees holding court over the minions, as usual. Of course, only they know what is true and right.
Yep, this is sarcasm.
My worry is that with the way were going, we might not get to the next election.
Someone commented on this elsewhere, and Ill see about posting it here, but the point being made is that the Democratic national party of socialists may not want to relinquish their power.
The old saying is: One Man, One vote, ONCE.
Meaning that you only get one chance to vote down socialism, after that those votes are either bought with stolen good or there are only sham elections or no elections at all.
Example: Hitler got legitimately elected Once after that

as they say in Brooklyn.
Yes. The USA is already there. They have turned everything into a crime, and are turning crimes into non-crimes.
Under totalitarians, there is no right and wrong. Only what advances their cause of complete and total control of all parts of life.
A young man has been summoned to meet with the President of his college, Chattanooga State community for wearing an empty holster. A teacher complained. He has to meet at 2:00 pm. eastern today. He plans on recording the conversation. He can't afford a lawyer, and neither can I. He is 22 or 23. He doesn't belong to any gun rights groups.
Any suggestions on what else he needs to do?
Yes, they are already trying to criminalize dissent calling for the persecution of those who question the cult cause of climate change.
1). Can he bring anyone along to take notes of the conversation?
2). Ask the president specifics on what rules were allegedly violated.
3). See if any gun rights groups will be able to help or check there are any attorneys willing to advise on this on a pro bono basis.

You can see if there are any sympathetic attorneys would be willing to help you out on a pro bono basis.
This is not just Osaka. This is years in the making. Unelected State and federal official have long expanded their power. The People have demanded more regulations. They got it.
“The People have demanded more regulations. They got it.”
The people were told more regulations were needed to save the children by the progressive media.
The politicians did what the media wanted.
As mentioned inquire as to what law/ordnance/rule it was he violated, but also take a copy of the TN Constitution (I'm assuming TN from your profile page) and directly ask how those rules comport with it:
Art 1, Section 2.Note that Art 1, Sec 26 doesn't allow the legislature to regulate the non-wearing of arms or the wearing of non-arms (i.e. a holster is not an arm)
That government being instituted for the common benefit, the doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power and oppression is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.Art 1, Section 8.
That no man shall be taken or imprisoned, or disseized of his freehold, liberties or privileges, or outlawed, or exiled, or in any manner destroyed or deprived of his life, liberty or property, but by the judgment of his peers, or the law of the land.Art 1, Section 26. That the citizens of this state have a right to keep and to bear arms for their common defense; but the Legislature shall have power, by law, to regulate the wearing of arms with a view to prevent crime.
And, if they try to pull any sort of intimidation you're lucky we aren't pressing charges
the proper response is
Art 1, Section 14.
That no person shall be put to answer any criminal charge but by presentment, indictment or impeachment.
My opinion is that The People want a King. You give the media to much credit.
It is possible, even likely, but the media have sure pushed hard in that direction.
