I suppose it’s hard to understand, from our point of view, the difficulty cats have with opening the top shelf for the bag of cat food and pouring it neatly into the cat bowl.

Sounds like the plot of Riki Tiki Tavi.

Must have missed that one.
We've got a big gray male tom in our neighborhood, eats at my house and the neighbors, cat chow or scraps left for him.
Walks around, *on patrol* every night from house to house, sleeps all day, sometimes on my boat cover, LOL.
Probably weighs in at 20-25 pounds, solid muscle.

We had a large tabby Tom who would ride large dogs—Dig his claws in and ride them like a bronco as they pirched and tried to get him off. They would roll, he would jump off, when they righted themselves he would jump back on! He was a fearless Cat.

One of the best "street fighters" I ever had was a Tuxedo Tom that tipped the scales at 17 lbs. He could out think and out wrestle any dog on the block. Those that knew him would get up and move out of his way whenever he came down the sidewalk.

It’s that, plus the way the guy pedals his flaming feet. Hilarious.

What a beautiful story of Micky. You must miss him still. I know I would.
