It is past time to impeach (Saturbray)

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 NIV

It is time to impeach this Marxist dictator, not for this generation, but for generations to come. It is time for America to send the message that this is still a country of laws even for the lawless. This is not a political message, it is a message that nobody is above the law and especially the most powerful person in the land. This is once again calling on the most democratic institution in the land, our House of Representatives to do the right thing and bring charges of impeachment against Barak Obama.

There are numerous reasons for charges, beginning with the assault on the American people with the IRS, NSA and ATF in an attempt to intimidate them into stopping political dissent over Obamacare. Richard Nixon was impeached for threatening to use the IRS to harass people with his Enemies List and Obama actually used the IRS to stop Conservative groups from organizing the way the Liberal groups are organized. The hearings are showing that it was a conspiracy which was obviously coordinated by the White House and he needs to be held responsible for that.

In addition to the conspiracy to take the Rights away from his opposition of free speech, he needs to be held responsible in the destruction of evidence in a House investigation. The destruction of the hard drives and emails is a breaking of numerous laws passed since Nixon. It would seem to be impossible to actually destroy emails in an organization like the gummit, so there is either lying, cover up or both. This needs to be investigated and those guilty charged with crimes which are basic to maintaining a free and open administration.

The second item of impeachment would be his exceeding his power as president by declaring executive orders that is either changing laws or making up new laws. The power to change laws is strictly a function of the House and Senate so what he is doing is far outside his role of signer and enforcer of those laws. He is bordering on dictatorship as he picks and chooses who and what he will enforce with a tunnel vision towards destroying the free markets. His unilateral writing laws through his EPA to enforce fraudulent Global Warming theories is something that needs to be debated in the congress rather than behind closed doors in an agency full of Marxist extremists. The exceeding his authority is the biggest reason to impeach him to define the parameters of that office.

The third item for impeachment has to be his ignoring the sovereignty of this country. To open the borders to the entirety of South America is a complete assault on this country and its reason for being. This is not the United Countries of America it is the United States which means it has a border between itself and Mexico as well as Canada. His latest tactic with the organized importation of children into this country to sidestep a law needs to be investigated and charges brought against the criminals. This is as a horrific a tactic as anybody has tried and fits right into the tactics used against Israel by Code Pink and Bill Ayers which was coordinated by the White House. If there is a criminal conspiracy with this outrageous tactic to force amnesty on the American taxpayer, charges must be brought.

These are only the three most outrageous charges which should be an automatic indictment for the Senate to decide. Many believe it would be a waste of time assuming that the Dems would march lockstep like they did for Clinton when that is not a foregone conclusion. He is not as popular as he was a year ago and this latest border incursion even his most ardent supporters are beginning to question their loyalty. These Nicaraguans are going to be taking their jobs and subsidies making them reconsider their blind following of someone who cares more about Hispanic votes than theirs. It may be fashionable for him and his fellow Georgetown Marxists, but blacks are asking how we can add 10 million Mexicans to welfare rolls when we can’t take care of our own. How are they going to get or keep their entry level jobs when you have new arrivals who will work for free?

The messiah factor is gone and the problem with rock stars is once they lose their luster they are thrown away and forgotten. The only reason he had the support he had was due to his being black and the White guilt built into most liberals. They believed they were paying the black man back for the sins of their forefathers who owned slaves, ignoring the 500,000 who already gave their lives to end slavery nationwide. In addition to their warm feelings from voting for a black man they also believed he was a new Abraham Lincoln who would lead their country into a new millennium and a Utopian society and economy. He was the anti-Bush who was painted for 8 years as a monster and he was now going to be their actual messiah to turn America into the land of milk and honey. Rather, he has turned it into spit and vinegar and Americans are waking up to that reality.

Finally, he would be able to golf full time and not be bothered with that leading hassle. Leadership is a learned skill and he has never bothered to develop it. He has absolutely no leadership qualities and is completely ruled by his hatred of America and the free market. That is why he believed the ends justified the means and still does. This is why he is about to declare all Mexicans who are living inside the US as citizens with the right to vote which is far beyond his power. In the end by all appearances he would like to retire early and move on to his speaking and adoration tours while playing the entire exclusive courses full time. Impeachment would be a badge of honor which could only add to his post presidency appeal, so it is doubtful he would even mind being impeached.

The political aspect of this decision should not stop the House from filing counts of impeachment. The general thought is that it would hurt Republicans, but that is not a sure thing. America is looking for leadership and this would be laying down a line that cannot be crossed and voters would likely appreciate this. His favorability and likability is in freefall and if people were honest about it he is not a very likable person. It is one thing to be a partisan and pull for your team, but to be absolutely nasty and ignore them completely is not American. He is a caustic person and it is even money that when it goes to Senate that there could be a large majority who want him impeached including the Clinton wing of the Dems.

It is time to impeach the president to build a wall between a dictator and the people. This country was built on the absolute freedom between the people and a monarchy. This division has been worn down over time although there has never been a president who believed that he should be a dictator until now. He believes he knows what is best for America and that is to turn it into a Marxist Monarchy with his fellow Marxists forcing people to live the way they want them to live. He has destroyed so much of the economy and freedoms it will take decades to repair, but now is the time to begin. This has nothing to do with elections coming up, but has everything to do with enforcing the parameters the fathers of this country designed and the protection of the freedoms of the individual. It is time for some leaders to stand up and prove to America there are still things you can believe in and the first and foremost is that nobody is above the law.

Pray America wakes up

Your right, we have to show the country we are nice and play defense to win big. Being offensive might upset those precious moderates who win all the elections. After all Rove and the Establishment say so and they have never lost.

Impeachment is an inherently political act. The Framers knew so, and said so, in places like the Federalist Papers (#65, but also #51 and #69).

So you don't make the decision to impeach in the absence of considering the political environment and consequences of doing so. Impeachment can be used to remove an offensive President/Officeholder from their position (assuming the Senate goes along), or it can be used as a check upon an offensive President/Officeholder if the Senate doesn't.

But there MUST be a reasonable expectation that the act of Impeachment will achieve the desired political ends. The worst possible outcome of an impeachment is to not only leave the offensive President/Officeholder in power, but to actually STRENGTHEN their power by rallying the public to their side and cause.

That's where any impeachment of Obama is going to go. He's going to walk away stronger, not weaker. He's going to walk away with Harry Reid still in control of the Senate. He might even pick up House seats - perhaps not enough to put Pelosi back into the Speakership but certainly enough for him to claim victory and a mandate for his final two years. Probably enough to see his Democrat successor in the White House elected with a wide popular majority and an electoral landslide.

Remember the old saying that if you're going to take a shot at the King, be sure to kill him. It applies just as well in the figurative/political sense to the American Republic.

There are other ways to put a check on an out of control executive besides impeachment. A big way is to put both Houses of Congress firmly into the control of persons opposing him. There's an excellent chance that the GOP can and will do that in the Senate this Fall. And while there's all sort of griping about the GOPe and McConnell running the show, denying them a majority not only robs us of the one chance to exercise a proper check it ALSO robs guys we support like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee (or even guys we support some of the time on certain things, like Rand Paul) of being in the Majority where they can actually provide some leadership (like Cruz did during the shutdown last year).

With all due respect, “losing” is NOT “winning” — no matter how brave the soldiers or how just the cause.

Therefore, we need to pick fights that we can WIN, and we need to prepare the battle-space so that the resources we actually have will allow us to WIN.

If you sincerely want to impeach Obama, FIRST, get the majority of Americans to support your quest. THEN, succeed.

You may think that to getting yourself organized to win together is just too much work for you to do.

If so, I’m sure you will understand why I won’t be joining your little re-enactment of “Custer’s Last Stand”.

“Losing” is NOT “winning.”

Draw up articles of impeachment and then articulate the message of what is in the them.

We need more than one list, published in more than one place.

And these lists should be presented to the public in ways that prevent our corrupt media from selectively “editing” those lists to make our patriots look deranged.

I saw a woman on TV who loudly protested that her neighbors needed help more than the invading hordes do. Let’s make the case that favoring illegals over citizens pushes black American down.

Does anyone think that Obama “identifies” with black Americans? With any Americans?

How much longer will black Americans submit to abuse by Democrats?

OK, I’m wrong. The House moves to impeach Obama. He’s impeached. Now what? Do you think we’ll win in November on this?

I don't think we will win in November in any case, we are determined to keep the GOPe in office and many of the old crooks will lose to lesser democrats, mark my word.

Then of course there is that fraud thingy, that everyone tries to ignore. I believe if Harry Reid thought there was a chance in he77 of losing the Senate he would have not have changed the rules on his own.

So you’re expecting the GOPe and the old crooks to impeach Obama and are angry and disappointed that they won’t, but they’re the GOPe and old crooks that you won’t elect in November in the first place. Am I getting you right?

“The second item of impeachment would be his exceeding his power as president by declaring executive orders that is either changing laws or making up new laws.”

Congress may reverse any executive order. This would be the first step in stopping such overreach; impeachment would be in order only if Congress overturned an EO and Obama continued to enforce it anyway.
