Ebola can be contained, President Obama stressed, addressing the press at the U.S.-Africa Summit Wednesday. “What we do know is that the Ebola virus, both currently and in the past, is controllable if you have a strong public health infrastructure in place,” Obama said when asked about experimental Ebola treatments, explaining it would be premature to address them as not all the science “is in.”

Poo-pooing the dangers of an Ebola outbreak in this country is pretty close to the ultimate in “extraordinarily irresponsible”.
We don’t KNOW how many persons who may have been infected with the Ebola virus have entered the country, ILLEGALLY, through that torn hole in our southwest border. We DO know, as fast as they can be loaded on buses or planes and widely distributed across the face of America, the vectors are being put in place.

That is the meme spouted by “scientists” with the hyped drama of global climate change.

The problem is that since our leaders have messed up the facts, they can’t fix things with speeches.
War, Famine and Pestilence all obey the laws of physics. The media, government and the academy have heretofore cared about the laws of political correctness and the tyranny of appearances. Now we get to see who wins. In recent years it has become fashionable to claim the Narrative trumps reality. Yet you can’t bribe viruses, can’t “hide” infectious victims, can’t appease dictators and you can’t print money. As I’ve written many times before, nobody beats arithmetic.
I was pretty unconcerned about Ebola, until Obama made this pronouncement. Now I know it will be an unmitigated disaster.
The other day the MSM was blaming it on Global Warming.
