If we get a big eruption and some cooling, the Warmists will describe it as a temporary abberation and that if not for the volcano, the earth would be much warmer.

Similar to the way global warming was a natural occurrence so is global cooling. And it has indeed been a very cool summer...at least in my neck of the woods.
