The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People on Thursday addressed the Nov. 4 midterm elections in a statement that failed to make any mention of the historic wins of Congresswoman-elect Mia Love, R-Utah, and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C.
Love is not only the first Haitian-American elected to Congress, but she is also the first African-American woman running as a Republican to be elected to Congress. Meanwhile, Sen. Scott’s victory on Tuesday makes him the first African-American senator to win an election in the South since the Reconstruction.
Shortly after the NAACP released its Nov. 4 statement, which was first obtained by TownHall, GOP deputy press secretary Raffi Williams issued a series of tweets criticizing the organization for its failure to mark Love’s and Scott’s major wins.

I for one am so happy with those two candidates I can’t even tell you. They have already brought many smiles to my face.

The truth is, Progressive Leftists are opposed to individual liberty as defined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The only real complaint they have about chattel slavery in America two hundred years ago is that the slaves were privately owned.
But they get orgasmic over the idea of slavery to the state.
Democrats never pass up on opportunity to tell us why enslavement by the state is for our own protection and our own safety, because life under the anarchy that conservatives want to impose is just too risky and dangerous. We can't have any of that inhumane "on-your-own economics" that conservatives advocate.
Thereby proving that you no longer have to be black to be an Uncle Tom.

If they are Republican they are obviously acting “too white.” The Great OZ has spoken.
Raffi Williams, son of Juan Williams. So there it is. Maybe soon, the children of the old guard will become the new. One can hope. As for the NAACP, it lives in the past and needs to come into the present. Of course it is not about “the cause” anymore, it is about itself. It cannot be shamed. Yet.
I had a black roommate in college who said people from the Caribbean were Hispanic not black.
He could say this with a straight face.
You look at Tim Scott FROM SOUTH CAROLINA and then you read the phony NAACP statement about “disenfranchised voters”, and you just shake your head in amusement, and disgust.
